Helping Hanmer get the recognition it deserves!
It’s always a great feeling when one of our favourite clients gets the recognition they deserve.
Last month Hanmer Springs Thermal Pools and Spa won one of seven inaugural Qualmark 100% Pure New Zealand Experience Awards.
The awards recognise excellence in sustainable visitor experiences.
Organisers of the award said recipients were New Zealand’s top visitor experiences, living and breathing sustainability and ensuring their communities reap the benefits of their success.
Having worked with the Hanmer Springs Thermal Pools and Spa team for more than five years, we are well aware of the incredible lengths they go to to ensure the community and environment are considered at every step of development and decision making processes.
And nothing beats seeing this recognised outside the organisation.
In the past 12 months, Hanmer Springs Thermal Pools and Spa has put enormous effort into conserving thermal water, having saved 58,000,000 litres (that’s the equivalent to 23 Olympic sized swimming pools!)
Their business ethos very much aligns with our own and for that, we are pretty chuffed that we get to work with such an awesome organisation day in, day out.
Hanmer Springs Thermal Pools and Spa had made a commitment to Tiaki - Care for New Zealand, a tourism industry initiative to encourage travellers to care for people, place and culture while in New Zealand.
As this awards goes to show, they walk the talk.
